“I think the best part of what Dan does is being able to ask people questions…to peel back the layers of the onion and really go deep. Because what people say they want, often isn't what they really want.

It’s what they think society thinks they should want. It isn't about the money. It isn't about the cars. It isn't about anything that's material. It's much more about feeling and emotion and possibility. I think Dan is able to call bullsh#t on someone and say, ‘You know what? I don't buy that. It doesn't ring true.’

It's a talent that Dan has he pushes you and pushes your boundaries. He opens you up to bigger possibilities.”

The Origin of the Painted Picture

The first "Painted Picture" was created by Brian Scudamore, founder of 1-800-Got-Junk?, in 1998. After working with Brian on several Painted Pictures, Dan realized he needed his own vision that aligned his personal and business lives. He was inspired to create a process to help other entrepreneurs tap into the power of possibility.

Brian’s vision propelled his company from $1 million to over $500 million in annual revenue.
